Dear Devotees:
The MahaMaya Mandir of American Bangali Hindu Foundation in Queens, New York has become the focal point of many individuals of our community as it serves the religious, spiritual, educational, cultural, social and charitable needs of the society. We encourage you to make the MahaMaya Mandir part of your life, and experience the Hindu Culture & Hindu Heritage right here in Queens, New York. Our Gurukul Vidya Phatt (Temple School) is teaching so many students at the present time every Saturday and Sunday. You just have to walk through the Mandir yard to see the happiness & the excitement amongst the students and their parents every weekend.

It is essential that we make certain that this Mandir meets its financial obligations. We still have a bank loan of $450k, and the large ongoing expenses to keep the Mandir open to serve the needs of our community. As there is no reserve fund available for paying the mortgage, completion of the unfinished work, maintenance or renovation work, the committee makes and earnest appeal in helping us raising $1.0 million to the devotees and all well-wishers to donate generously to build and complete the Mandir by 2015. There are many ways for you to support our Mandir—you may become a member, a trustee, a donor, sponsor one of the many religious events or sponsor one of the mini temples and other facilities. These are designed to suit all levels of giving. Contributing to our Mandir offers us a once in a lifetime opportunity to honor our loved ones and to leave a permanent legacy for the future generations. The senior generation can also pledge part of their estate to the Temple for ever-lasting contribution to the Mandir. Committee members are confident that by your wholehearted support and grace of God, MahaMaya Mandir project will be completed at ease by 2015.
